The Doctrine Of The Trinity:
We believe that there is, was, and eternally will be only one GOD. We believe that HE expresses HIMSELF in three distinct persons that are separate yet totally united. A good analogy might be to the sun and its light. Our sun is one light source yet that single light is composed of different parts: Visible light; invisible light; and heat. Each of THE PERSONS of THE TRIUNE GODHEAD (FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT) perform some acts together and some separately. For example: GOD THE SON, JESUS CHRIST, was the only one who died on the cross, whereas, both GOD THE FATHER and GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT were involved in CHRIST’s conception, while all three were involved in the creation.
The Doctrine Of THE SON:
We believe that JESUS CHRIST is THE LORD; SAVIOR; THE WAY, TRUTH, and ETERNAL LIFE; THE SON OF GOD; etc. but most of all we believe that JESUS is GOD. Not “a God” but THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. We believe that JESUS (while on earth) was 100% GOD in every aspect including but not limited to being: Eternal; omnipresent; omnipotent; and omniscient and 100% man. We also believe, for this reason, that while on earth, HE did willfully limit HIMSELF in HIS abilities and knowledge. We believe that JESUS lived a perfect and sinless life though tempted as we are in all ways. We don’t believe that HE could have sinned. We believe (if for no other reason than the omniscience of GOD and HIS existence outside of time) that JESUS was, is, and always will be THE SON OF GOD and not just while HE was on earth. We believe that JESUS CHRIST is the one and only way to THE FATHER. We believe that JESUS died on the cross (when HE knew the time was right and not before); was buried; descended into Abraham’s bosom in Tartarus and led its inhabitants to paradise; bodily arose on the third day; appeared to a few of HIS followers; returned to THE FATHER; again, returned to earth for a period of about 40 days appearing several times to HIS followers; then physically and visibly ascending up into Heaven where HE has been and is now praying, interceding, and preparing a place for HIS church for which HE will return and gather unto HIMSELF.
The Doctrine Of THE FATHER:
We believe in GOD THE FATHER. We believe that HE has always been THE FATHER. He is both a spirit and a person. We believe that HE is the head of the Trinity and superior in title only, not in essence, but equal in every way to THE SON and THE SPIRIT. At the end of time all authority given to CHRIST by THE FATHER will be ultimately returned to the control and authority of THE FATHER. All prayer should be directed to THE FATHER. No one can receive salvation until THE FATHER begins the work of drawing him or her to CHRIST.
The Doctrine Of THE HOLY SPIRIT:
We believe in GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE is both a spirit and a person. We believe that THE HOLY SPIRIT fills, empowers, indwells, teaches, seals, and guarantees the salvation of each believer. We believe in the perpetuity of spiritual gifts, that is, in the present-day miraculous working of THE HOLY SPIRIT in the lives of believers. We believe that all of the fruit and gifts of THE HOLY SPIRIT are for the body of CHRIST today. We believe that the gifts of THE HOLY SPIRIT are chosen and distributed by THE HOLY SPIRIT as HE sees fit. We believe that, while all gifts are to be desired, the greatest of all the gifts is love.
The Doctrine Of GOD:
We believe, along with the above, that GOD is eternal--Never having a beginning and never having an end. GOD is omnipresent (present everywhere), omniscient (knowing all things including things that might have been), omnipotent (all powerful--unlimited, unequaled infinite power and ability). HE is immutable--GOD never changes. GOD is infinitely holy, pure, just, good, and true. HE is unapproachable and unknowable by unaided mortal man. We believe that because GOD is sovereign, ultimately GOD is in total and complete control of all things and that nothing can occur, good or bad, without the final say or permission of GOD.
The Doctrine Of THE BIBLE:
We believe that the Bible (as originally given to man) is the perfect, true, and holy word of GOD HIMSELF. We believe that GOD is ultimately responsible for its protection and survival to this day. We believe that the Bible we have today is virtually identical to the original scriptures thus remaining "the perfect, true, and holy words of GOD HIMSELF". These scriptures, We believe, originated from the mind of GOD and that GOD through men HE selected--using their distinct personalities, abilities, etc. in ways that only GOD could--delivered to mankind the totality of HIS Word as HE intended. We believe that GOD's Word proves its authority by its unequaled perfect reliability concerning its claims and teachings involving: Anthropology, archaeology, biology, and other sciences, history, fulfilled prophecy, etc. It is the one and only Word of GOD.
The Doctrine Of Man:
Man is by nature, not by action, sinful. As opposed to being holy, pure, and good, all mankind is wicked and evil. If we got what we all deserved we would all experience eternal punishment and torment in Hell. There is nothing in mankind, neither in heart, soul, or mind, which desires GOD in any way. The finest, works and deeds of mankind with the purest of intents are garbage in GOD's sight. Man has freedom of choice but not unlimited freedom of choice.
The Doctrine Of Sin:
Sin is not just a word or an idea. It is a real thing, force or effect if you will, that has affected all of creation. We believe that GOD created the potential for sin but it was first made manifest by Lucifer. It brought with it death and destruction and transformed man's original innocent nature to a sinful nature that is passed down from generation to generation. It is as much a real part of mankind's physical make-up as our genes and chromosomes. There is no natural cure or remedy for sin in all of creation. The only freedom from sin lies in GOD.
The Doctrine Of Baptism:
Water Baptism Is Not Required For Salvation. No works of any kind can claim a part of our being made righteous before GOD, therefore, water baptism cannot save us nor can it even play a part in saving us. Spiritual baptism is essential for our salvation. There is indeed a baptism that is essential for our salvation but it is the baptism in THE HOLY SPIRIT (which each believer receives at the moment of salvation) and not a baptism in water. The purpose of water baptism is the public proclamation of our acceptance by faith of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as our SAVIOR. It is done out of obedience to THE LORD from and for a good conscience toward GOD.
The Doctrine Of Salvation:
Those who receive salvation are saved from an eternity in Hell (of being eternally separated from GOD and totally forgotten). We are saved through faith alone in JESUS CHRIST alone, and even that faith is a gift from GOD. We can not become unsaved. We don't believe that salvation is the right of everyone, but is, we believe, a privilege for a select number chosen by GOD HIMSELF. Believers are chosen, not because of righteousness or abilities they posess, not because of who they are, what they have, or what they can do. Believers are chosen by GOD based solely on HIS amazing grace...totally undeserved.
